NADIA IS RUNNING AN INDEPENDENT CAMPAIGN FOR U.S. CONGRESS IN THE FIRST DISTRICT OF MASSACHUSETTS
Not Left, Not Right
A Mother’s Fight
I was thrown into politics five years ago when a Boeing 737 MAX carrying my daughter Samya crashed in Ethiopia, killing all on board. I became an advocate for aircraft safety, working on the national bi-partisan Aircraft Certification, Safety, and Accountability Act, passed unanimously by Congress in December 2020. My background as an attorney and public defender taught me that it is possible to strategically challenge power and win.
